Καλώς ήρθατε, UGA!

Updated: Mar 9

Christougenna Brunch felt especially lively this year, sharing the weekend with UGA Boston - many gathered with Nea Parea on Sunday, packing Trade with Greeks from across the country.

Nea Parea was especially excited to welcome founder of UGA Deano Kastis, whose kindness and encouragement toward Nea meant a great deal to our community. His joy in seeing what this community is building reminded us just how connected these efforts really are!

United Greek Americans has meant a lot to many in the diaspora. For many of us (myself included), it was where the spark was first lit — the spark that awakened a desire to connect more with our Greekness. As someone who’s attended many Nea events, I’d like to think that spark has carried into our community here. Seeing those paths cross this weekend was a great little reminder that Ελληνισμός in the diaspora isn’t something necessarily inheritable - but rather something kept alive by coming together again & again

I reccomend checking out their events, I've linked their instagram page here!
