PAREA & PISTI: BREAKING BREAD EVENT REFLECTION

Two weeks ago, we had our very first Parea and Pisti event with Nea Parea. With about thirty young adults gathered together on a snowy night, we met at Goodnight Johnny's, shared a meal with each other, and used a provided discussion to break bread with one another. This is the first of many faith-based events that we aim to incorporate with Nea Parea. We met with the intention to bring Christ to the table no matter where anyone was at with their spiritual journey or how they felt about the Orthodox Christian faith. We invited Christ into the conversations, and we had a memorable night of fellowship.

This season of Lent, this is what we are called to do - to invite Christ into our lives no matter where we may be at with our spiritual journey. Whether that is through prayer, almsgiving, or fasting, take a look at the resources on our website as we continue to break bread with the One who gives us His daily bread.
